To that end our Center has been designed to help minimize the potential worry that you might associate with a visit to a surgeon’s office. An inviting ambiance to the Zehr Center for Orthopaedics has been created in its design to provide a pleasant and comforting setting to offset the anxiety and stress that might be distracting you. From the highly trained, enthusiastic and professional staff in assistance to the calming design and atmosphere of the office--you will be put at ease. This should give you the best opportunity to focus on your visit with Dr. Zehr and upon leaving have a clear understanding of your diagnosis and treatment plan. You will meet several highly experienced support staff - office coordinators, nurse, X-ray technician and physician assistant-- who understand that the most important person that they meet, assist and comfort is - YOU! With each new patient we are compelled to confirm once again that we deserve the trust you place in us and the recommendation of us that you give to your friends and family. The Zehr Center for Orthopaedics is equipped with the some of the most advanced medical technology available to treat the orthopaedic patient. Somewhere in the future, electronic medical record (EMR) keeping will be available in most physician offices, but the future is now at our Center as we have one of the finest EMR systems (e-MDs) on the market which affords us the opportunity to provide the most expedient acquisition, transfer and communication of your sensitive patient data currently possible. In addition, this allows us almost immediate communication of our findings to your own family physician so that continuity of care is actively maintained. In addition, our office employs one of the most sophisticated digital X-ray systems currently available to private practitioners (GE Definium 5000). The images acquired are far superior to the standard office films available to most practices and allow a much higher degree of analysis than previously available. This X-ray unit in conjunction with an advanced "picture archiving and communication system - PACS" (Centricity RA 600) gives us the capability to show you the findings immediately in your exam room, to accurately template and better prepare for joint replacement surgery and to safely store your images both onsite and off-site so that they can never be lost or distorted by time.
