NAPLES, Fla. (December 19, 2011) –Press Ganey has completed its 3rd Quarter Patient Satisfaction Survey at Physicians Regional Medical Center – Pine Ridge and Naples orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Robert J. Zehr has once again ranked in the top 99th percentile.
Press Ganey partners with more than 40% of U.S. hospitals to measure and improve the quality of health care. The Patient Satisfaction Survey is one measurement tool the consulting firm relies upon. Survey questions in 10 areas such as Communication with Doctors, Communication about Medicines, Pain Control, and Overall Rating of Care are designed to give a comprehensive view of the facility and its staff as they relate directly to patient care.
Dr. Zehr has been recognized previously in the Press Ganey survey, as well as in other healthcare surveys such as Castle Connolly’s Best Doctors and locally as one of Gulfshore Life’s “Top Doctors”. The defining element of the Press Ganey survey, however, is that the ranking is based solely on the patients’ satisfaction. “It is always a special occasion to be recognized as one of the best physicians in the area, but it is especially gratifying to have been so honored by the patients for which I care every day.
