NAPLES, Fla. (January 21, 2020) – The Zehr Center for Orthopaedics in Naples, Florida, has added Jason Ziter, PA-C, as physician assistant to orthopaedic surgeon Robert J. Zehr, M.D. With a BS in biology from Hope College in Holland, MI, Ziter completed his PA pre-requisite work at FGCU, and then graduated from the Miami Dade College Physician Assistant Program. He went on to earn his Master of Medical Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. Ziter’s medical rotations focused on the field of emergency medicine and included pediatric and psychiatric emergency medicine. His well-rounded experience included rotations in OB/GYN medicine, geriatrics, infectious diseases, cardiology, and trauma surgery.
Licensed in both Michigan and Florida, Ziter’s previous medical experience includes tenures in both Naples and Traverse City, MI. He is certified by the national Commission of Certified Physician’s Assistants and holds Schedule II-V prescriptive privileges, as awarded by the DEA.
